Chinese, South Korean experts share information on COVID-19 prevention and control
China's Peking University First Hospital in China and South Korea's Myongji Hospital established a communication mechanism by which clinical experts can combat COVID-19 under the support of the health authorities of the two countries and held their first conference on July 8. Eleven experts from the two hospitals attended the conference.
At the event clinical experts made in-depth exchanges on matters such as improving hospital's capacity in response to public health emergencies, operation and management of infection departments amid the COVID-19 epidemic, the functions of public and non-public medical institutions, distribution of medical protection materials and use of traditional medicine.
The two sides agreed to continue to strengthen technological exchanges and experience sharing, work together in response to the epidemic, jointly maintain regional and global health security, and support the construction of a global public health community.
