China, Singapore share views on epidemic control
China's National Health Commission (NHC) and Singapore's Ministry of Health jointly held a virtual conference on July 23 for experts from the two countries to discuss the prevention and control of COVID-19.
Representatives from the NHC, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and Peking University First Hospital participated in the conference.
At the conference, the two sides exchanged opinions on the latest conditions of the epidemic, virus prevention and control strategies and measures taken for resumption of work and production. Technical issues such as virus detection, diagnosis and treatment, hospital discharge management and follow-up survey of patients were discussed.
The two sides expressed their willingness to enhance communication on technology and sharing of experiences to safeguard health security of the two countries and the region.
