Speaking of health informationization as a promoter of pandemic prevention and control, Zeng introduced China's development in international cooperation in the fight against COVID-19 and the application of information technology.
Zeng said that with a long-held scientific attitude, China has actively pushed forward vaccine research and development, promoted an internet plus medical health and telemedicine service system, established and improved the material security and supply mechanism, and accelerated universal health coverage.
The global fight against COVID-19 is still at a critical stage, said Zeng, stressing that China will further advance international cooperation in pandemic prevention and control, support the WHO in playing a leading and coordinating role in the global virus fight, share with other countries its experience in COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, continue to provide assistance to other developing countries, and promote the building of a global public health community.
