Q: What’s your life’s dream?

A: I have always wanted to be a doctor, ever since I was 13. I first tried to get into Hong Kong University’smedical school but didn’t succeed. So I worked as a pharmacist for a while, which has something to do withmedicine. Then I went to Oxford to study biochemistry. After that, I tried again and enrolled in Cambridge’smedical school. I was seven or eight years older thanmy classmates, but I really wanted to be a doctor. Thatmay be the reason why I'm geared up everyday formy work. One should have a dream.

Q: What’s your take on the Chinese Dream?

A:When we’re in school, we’re often asked about our dream. That imagination and ideal drives us. I think that’s what Chinese dreams are for, we stand firmon the ground but at the same time we should have a vision.
