Strengthen training and scientifically carry out the treatment

To effectively deal with Ebola, the NHFPC revised the Diagnosis and Treatment Scheme of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever (NHFPC [2014] No 39) and Ebola Relevant Disease Diagnosis and Treatment (NHFPC [2014] No 39). It formulated The Diagnosis and Treatment Scheme (2014, first edition). Local health and family planning departments should train medical staff of designated hospitals and the people involved in treatment for Ebola, training them to effectively protect themselves as well as diagnose and treat suspected Ebola patients.

5. Coordinate the transfer work for patients

Local health and family planning departments should organize the emergency center to transfer Ebola patients according to The Transferring Work Plan for Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever Cases released by the NHFPC. Departments should communicate with port inspection and quarantine departments and military health departments to ensure the safety of the transfer work.

Provincial health and family planning departments should prepare according to the notice, ensuring the relevant work can be implemented once the Ebola epidemic breaks out in China.
