600 medical volunteers from 200 medical institutions have participated in a joint charity event commemorating the Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan.

They went to Wenchuan to check the locals' physical conditions. This medical tour specifically focused on helping the families who suffered from illnesses or deformities caused by the earthquake. They also held a series of online professional development seminars to help the local medical teams improve their skills.

An earthquake hit Wenchuan on May 12th, 2008. Nearly 70,000 people lost their lives and close to 18,000 went missing in the disaster.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Wenchuan Earthquake.
