There was a total of 821,811 identifiable disease reports on the mainland, for June 2015, resulting in 1,487 deaths. For Category A there were three cholera attacks and no evidence of SARS, poliomyelitis, avian influenza or diphtheria. In Cat B, there were 318,705 cases reported, covering 22 diseases, resulting in 1,456 deaths. The most frequent ones were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, bacterial and amebic dysentery, and scarlet fever, accounting for 89 percent. In Cat C, there were 503,103 disease reports, with 31 deaths. The most frequent were hand-foot-and-mouth disease, infectious diarrhea, and influenza, accounting for 94 percent.
